Chương 121: Impossible to Who?
Swing Master Rank One or Bust [VRMMO │ LitRPG │ Progression] · RankUnlisted · 182 chương · ~49 phút đọc · Tạo 06/08/2026
"Difficulty is impossible?" Meno said through gritted teeth.
"Really?" The Titan's Gambit option burned beneath the final trial adjustment, close enough to Thorn's death notification that Meno could see both without moving his eyes. He hit it before the weight of the consequences had time to settle in his mind and make him act like a coward. Character deletion was one thing. A full month's suspension from Veyrath was an execution for his streaming career.
There was no other VRMMO he could switch to, no comparable title he could pretend to care about while his audience waited, and no guarantee his audience would still be here when the suspension ended. What the hell was he supposed to do for a month without Veyrath? Consequences be damned. Meno was livid. The Swing Master had changed targets at the last possible second. The timing was too precise, too perfectly placed to turn a clear into Thorn's death and leave Meno holding the body bag.
Thorn had messed up by assuming the boss would remain focused on Meno for one more fraction of a second, but two things could be true at the same time: Thorn had made a mistake, and someone was also messing with them. Meno was not going to stand inside the result and accept it politely. His class had returned with the role swap removed, Vervenzal's Verdict was back in his hand, and more than twelve million people had just watched Thorn get deleted. Now they were going to watch Meno play the class right.
Not the safe version, not anything a reasonable player could pull off. Full XUltra KKF performance mode. This was not gameplay anymore. Meno was fighting for his life. [Titan's Gambit Accepted] Solo encounter initiated. Opponent: Punishment Trial Conditions: HP locked at 1. Meteorfall is permanent. Meteor impact is fatal. Arena floor contact is fatal after first meteor impact. Punishment occupies the highest active meteor. After first hostile contact, Punishment Teleports after 1. 5 seconds.
Boss Mechanics: Disintegration Beam | Cast: 0. 25 seconds | Horizontal frontal line | Fatal on contact. Erasure | Cast: 0. 5 seconds | Short-range area | Fatal on contact. After every Teleport, Expulsion removes all class resources from Punishment's opponent, including stored effects and Chain. Expulsion is unavoidable. Victory Condition: Defeat Punishment [Fight begins in 1 minute. Prepare yourself.] Meno stared at the conditions.
HE CLICKED IT ONE HP NO-HIT SOLO PBG has actually lost it GL WITH THAT actually impossible"Fatal beam. Fatal cast. Fatal floor. Fatal rocks." He rolled his shoulders.
"Got it. No-hit run." Contact was fatal. The only acceptable defensive value was zero. Meno opened the Essence menu to upgrade Pump Infernal to max. Thorn's PvP ambush had interrupted that back in Naraltan, and Meno had somehow forgotten about it ever since. [Essence disabled]"Of course." Meno discarded every class interaction that could not survive the rules while the countdown continued falling. Stored Madness Infernal was useless because Expulsion would delete it after every Teleport.
Any incomplete Chain left when Punishment moved would disappear without activating Break Infernal. Pursuit had to be active inside every damage window, because the double-strike was the only reason twelve attacks were enough to trigger a Detonation, and the 100% Action Speed from Break Infernal had to remain active continuously. False Wings was not merely mobility anymore. Its three activations were oxygen, and falling meteors were the only surfaces in the encounter that could give them back.
The loop was obvious: reach the highest rock, attack, build 66 Chain, detonate before 1. 5 seconds, leave before impact, touch another falling rock, and repeat. The math made no sense. The Teleport rule still made the attempt impossible. With Break Infernal active and Pursuit doubling every attack, his class could perform six attacks per second, while a normal Chain Detonation required twelve hits total. That meant about 2 seconds of perfect play in a 1. 5-second world. There had to be a catch.
Meno opened his settings and placed two macro commands, then pushed both to top priority inside the XPro capsule's fastest input layer. Equip Vervenzal's Verdict to right hand. Equip Vervenzal's Verdict to left hand. It was an exploit Meno had been thinking about but had never attempted. He had no proof it worked, and the countdown gave him nowhere to test it before the only attempt he would receive. Five seconds remained. He lowered the sword beside his right leg and smiled without humor.
"Grab your popcorn. Put the stream on point-five speed." Meno watched the last second disappear.
"You won't be able to follow otherwise." The countdown ended. Meno activated Pump Infernal, received Chain, and immediately broke it without storing anything. Break Infernal ignited around him, giving him the Action Speed he needed from the first frame of the encounter. Car-sized rocks appeared across the open sky. They had no flames, summoning circles, or glowing trails.
Enormous black masses were simply already falling at different heights, as though gravity had begun before the encounter and the world had only now allowed Meno to see the result. Punishment materialized above them. A floating black cloak stood weightlessly upon the highest descending meteor. It possessed no visible face, feet, hands, weapon, or casting motion. The cloth did not move in the rushing air. It merely occupied the top of the falling rock like a hole cut into the sky. [Disintegration Beam | Cast: 0. 25] Meno jumped, and both legs kicked against empty air, launching him from the colosseum floor toward the meteor he had chosen as his first reset point. Punishment fired a black line horizontally across the arena without sound, and the beam passed through the center of that rock. There was no explosion. The meteor ceased to exist along the beam's path, its divided mass disintegrating before Meno could correct and leaving him flying toward empty space.
He twisted and spent a second kick with one leg, redirecting toward a lower rock passing beneath the ruined route. Its curved upper surface was already descending away from him, but Meno caught it with the edge of one foot for less than an instant and felt False Wings refresh before the meteor continued downward. Another rock struck the colosseum. The impact converted the entire arena floor into molten light. Stone vanished beneath a flat white blaze that filled the arena from wall to wall.
From that moment onward, Meno could not land, fall, stumble, or spend even a fraction of a second on the ground. Another spell cast was already appearing above Punishment. floor gone giga beam scary meteor or bust he is so dead rip titan dream There was no downtime. Within the first three seconds, Punishment, Meteorfall, and the route itself had all tried to kill Meno. He launched from the falling meteor, and Pursuit dragged him straight to Punishment.
The hit started Pursuit's double-strike state and triggered the 1. 5-second Teleport timer. Meno attacked at max speed. Break Infernal active. Pursuit active. Six registered actions per second. No missed input. No wasted movement. Punishment began another Disintegration Beam. Meno kept swinging as he stepped around the cloak, crossing the curved top of the meteor just far enough to slip out of the horizontal line without leaving sword range.
The beam fired past his shoulder and cut a path through the meteor field behind him. At 1. 4 seconds, eight attacks had completed and the ninth had only begun. Chain remained below 66. Veyrath wasn't lying. The fight was literally impossible for his class unless he switched to a dagger, but the best one in his inventory was only Uncommon III. Zero DPS. It didn't matter anyway. Even if he wanted to swap, Swing Master Infernal banned daggers. Meno manually broke the Chain before Expulsion could erase it.
Break Infernal refreshed. At 1. 5 seconds, the cloak vanished. It reappeared on the new highest meteor, and Expulsion blanketed the arena. The rock beneath Meno was less than half a second from impact, so he kicked away just before it struck the molten floor behind him and disappeared into the light. He had attacked perfectly, but perfect had been too slow.
zero damage this is an execution not a trial UNFAIR BS makes no sense Meno caught a descending meteor with one foot, felt False Wings refill, and launched again before the rock could carry him down. He cut upward through the falling field toward Punishment's new perch and struck before the cloak could settle. The second window began. [Erasure | Cast: 0. 5] There was no safe angle. The entire short-range space around the cloak was about to become death.
Meno fired both legs and launched past the radius, hanging outside the forming effect until it resolved before snapping back in with one leg. Pursuit held, but the dodge had already killed the window. He attacked anyway, accepted the loss, and manually broke the partial Chain at 1. 4 seconds. Break Infernal refreshed. Punishment Teleported. Expulsion took everything else. The normal route was not just too slow under perfect conditions. Every Erasure cast was an instant zero-DPS window.
Meno left the meteor before impact and reopened his equipment UI while flying toward the next falling rock. Dual wielding was disabled for Swing Master Infernal, but that only blocked equipping two weapons. It did not block hands. Control Infernal erased the weapon swap penalty, and if the attack speed cap was counted per hand, the way it had to be for normal dual wielding to work, then Meno had found the crack. Attack with the right hand. Swap the sword to the left. Let the left attack while the right recovered.
Swap back. Repeat fast enough to bypass his six-attacks-per-second cap. Twelve was probably fantasy, but nine or ten attacks per second might be real. Meno touched down on the upper curve of a third meteor, refreshed False Wings, and launched straight at Punishment's next perch. The cloak started a Disintegration Beam as he closed in, forcing him to kick higher, tuck into a somersault over the silent black line, and drop onto the meteor beside the boss. His first strike landed.
The sword vanished into his left hand. The second strike landed. Meno tried to return it too early. The system rejected the equip command, leaving his right hand empty. He caught the failed timing before committing his body to the swing, delayed by a fraction, and tried again. Right. Left. Right. Left. Vervenzal's Verdict stopped looking like a weapon in his hand. It flashed between right and left on successive attack frames, each grip lasting only long enough to strike before the empty hand recovered.

The beam fired through the place he had just occupied and erased two meteors behind him. Right. Left. Right. His feet handled Punishment's position. His hands handled the exploit.
The rejected command had cost almost everything the window could tolerate, but the attacks were landing now, fast enough to feel like at least nine per second. Chain reached 66. The next hit triggered Detonation 0. 03 seconds before Teleport.
"THERE IT IS!" Meno shouted. wtf is he doing LOL exploit live why is weapon flickering pass trial get banned ban shorter than suspension worth he broke APS cap lmao lets gooo Black force folded inward around Punishment, dropping the boss to 94% HP. The cloak vanished. Expulsion triggered, but it could not remove damage that had already happened. The successful Detonation refreshed Break Infernal before the transfer, and Meno kicked away from the dying meteor with the speed still burning in his limbs.
The Trial had not asked for perfect play. It had asked for something faster. The exploit worked. The sky remained death. Punishment occupied the next highest meteor across the arena, and Meno blasted off his current rock toward it. A Disintegration Beam began during the crossing, aimed straight through the meteor he needed for a reset before he could reach the boss. The line fired. Meno spent his second kick to angle downward toward a lower rock, but its fall carried the curved upper surface away from him.
He burned the third and final kick to get above it, dropped the remaining distance, and touched one foot to its upper curve for less than an instant. False Wings refreshed. By then, Punishment's current rock was already too close to impact. Even if Meno reached it, there was no room to land attacks and get out before it hit the molten floor. He skipped it. The rock dropped too low, and Punishment Teleported to the next highest meteor. The gap threatened both Break Infernal and Pursuit. Pump Infernal had returned.
Meno activated it in flight, and immediately broke the Chain for speed. He reached Punishment on the next rock and began swapping hands like a maniac. [Erasure | Cast: 0. 5]"DAMN IT!" Too early. Meno saw the timestamp, knew the window was dead, and bailed instead of wasting another second on fake hope. He broke the partial Chain, kicked beyond the radius, and ate another transfer with zero damage. The hand swap had beaten Punishment's 1. 5-second check.
It had not beaten erased rocks, bad arrivals, Erasure, or the three-kick False Wings limit trying to murder him every route. So Meno stopped treating each Teleport like panic. The fight had a pattern. Rank the meteors before Punishment moved. Touch one to breathe. Reach the highest with one kick saved. Pursuit. Right-left. Read the spell name, not the cloak. Detonate. Pick the next route before Expulsion. Leave before impact. The next engagement began from below Punishment's perch.
Meno caught the meteor's upper edge with one foot, attacked upward while Vervenzal's Verdict flashed between his hands, and detonated before his body dropped out of sword range. Punishment fell to 88% HP. Meno kicked through the blast toward a crossing meteor, touched its upper curve, and launched toward the next route he had already picked during the final hits. Punishment materialized. Meno arrived with it. The meteor rolled as it fell, forcing his feet to adjust while his hands kept the exploit running.
A beam cut horizontally above the rotating surface. The twelfth strike landed underneath it. Another Detonation. 82%.
"AGAIN!" Punishment Teleported across the arena, and Meno fired both legs after it. He reached the meteor from above and let his momentum carry him over the edge, attacking as he dropped beside the rock with the cloak falling next to him. Right. Left. Right. Left. The meteor was the only thing between them and the molten arena. Meno's final hit triggered the Detonation at the edge of Vervenzal's Verdict's reach. 76%. The sword's opening damage bonus ended. An early Erasure began on the next perch. Too few attacks.
He broke the partial Chain at 1. 4 seconds, kicked away. Meno got faster. The cloak had no hands, weapon, face, or stance worth reading, so Meno stopped looking at it like an enemy. Spell name. Meteor height. Trajectory. Current hand. The fifth Detonation started with a Disintegration Beam prompt flashing up mid-swap into Meno's left hand. He kicked sideways just enough to keep the line behind him, never broke the weapon swap, and finished the Chain while cutting around Punishment's right side.
The sixth opened on a meteor rolling forward as it fell. Meno changed his footing on every swing, refusing to let the rock dump him into the cloak or throw him off the far edge before the Detonation. During the seventh, the beam erased the meteor he had already picked for his next reset. Meno saw it vanish before the current Chain hit cap. Right owned Verdict. The next highest rock was behind the cloak. Left attacked. A lower reset crossed beneath it. Right attacked. One escape kick saved. Left.
His body turned toward the backup route while his hands kept going. The Detonation fired, Punishment vanished, and Meno launched toward the lower meteor he had chosen before the explosion even started. Punishment fell to 65% HP. half speed still too fast wearing sunglasses route swap mid combo faster faster faster The weapon swap still needed thought, but the cast UI and the sky had stopped hitting him as one wall of noise. He was throwing useless data away faster.
An Erasure began near the opening of the next attack window. Early. Dead. Meno broke the partial Chain, kicked out with both legs to clear the area, and turned that same escape angle into a route toward the next refresh meteor. He touched its upper face, restored all three activations, and blasted toward Punishment's destination before the cloak appeared. On the following perch, Erasure began late. Late. Already won. Meno kept attacking through the last safe slice of the cast. Right. Left. Right.
The black radius started forming around Punishment. Meno fired both legs outward, leaving the cloak while Vervenzal's Verdict appeared in the next recovered hand. He held the edge of sword range and landed the twelfth attack while already moving away. The eighth Detonation erupted. At 1. 5 seconds, Punishment Teleported and Expulsion cleared the completed Chain. Erasure resolved a fraction later, eating the empty space behind Meno.
"MORE!" The next Erasure began at a worse time. Meno kept the hand sequence alive until the radius forced him out, launched clear, and held the next hand in his mind while the lethal area resolved. One left-handed attack had just landed. Right was next. He cut back in with one leg. Vervenzal's Verdict appeared in the correct hand. Right. Left. The final strike landed at the outer edge of the 1. 5-second window. The ninth Detonation dropped Punishment to 57% HP. Early meant dead. Mid meant salvageable.
Late meant won. Meno could read all three from the cast's first frame. Two meteors crossed during the next traversal. From Meno's angle, the nearer rock looked higher. It was not. Punishment Teleported to a farther meteor across the field. Meno had already burned two False Wings kicks in the wrong direction. He caught a safe falling rock and refreshed, but the damage window was gone. Waiting for Punishment to vanish and then searching for it was too slow. The destination was not random.
The cloak always took the highest active meteor. During the final attacks of each window, Meno started ranking the next rocks by where they would be after the Teleport, not where they were now. Height mattered. Downward speed mattered more. The next Chain hit cap, and Detonation ten erupted as Meno launched before Punishment vanished. The cloak completed its Teleport and found him already entering attack range. His right hand struck on the first frame. Detonation eleven followed.
Meno launched before that Teleport finished too, and Pursuit stopped being desperate catch-up. It became the final correction on a route he had already solved. Detonation twelve dropped Punishment to 46% HP. It still had perfect escape speed. It no longer created real separation. Meno was already launching toward the next predicted perch before the cloak disappeared.
"TOO SLOW!" Several meteors crossed at almost the same height during that transfer. Meno chose wrong again, committed toward the wrong rock, and lost the next window reaching a safe route with no Punishment on it. On the next perch, Meno stepped around Punishment until one of the rival high meteors sat directly behind him, lined up with the cloak's next beam. [Disintegration Beam | Cast: 0. 25] He kept attacking and held the angle. The cloak locked its facing.
Meno jumped and made one tiny vertical False Wings correction. The beam cut through the space where his body had been and erased the rival meteor. Only one highest destination remained. Meno completed Detonation thirteen already facing it. Punishment Teleported exactly where he had forced it to go. HE AIMED THE BOSS meteor pruning tech WOW that was way too close risky af Meno reached the forced destination and set the next beam through a meteor that would have blocked his approach after the Teleport.
The cast committed. He moved. The obstruction vanished. Detonation fourteen erupted as Meno launched through the opening Punishment had cleared for him. On the next cycle, he lined another beam through a competing meteor, leaving the cloak one real destination and Meno a clean route toward it. Detonation fifteen dropped Punishment to 35% HP. The boss still controlled the spell. Meno controlled what the spell removed.
"RIGHT THERE!" A beam deleted Meno's intended reset point on the same frame an Erasure prompt appeared over the current perch, and for the last time, the equipment cadence slipped. Not enough to kill him, but enough to kill the window. Meno felt the wrong hand recover, broke the partial Chain before it became an empty swing, and burned all three False Wings kicks reaching a lower meteor.
The first carried him out of Erasure, the second cut his fall beneath the horizontal beam line, and the third put him above the lower rock, where he dropped onto its upper curve a fraction before impact. His foot touched, three activations returned, and the meteor hit the molten floor beneath him while Meno was already launching upward. The equipment UI kept flashing: right slot occupied, empty, left slot occupied, empty, right slot occupied.
The alternating sequence kept running beneath every other decision like a second heartbeat. His hands handled the exploit below conscious thought. His mind belonged to spell casts, meteor routes, and nothing else. The sixteenth damage window began while Meno changed elevation along Punishment's meteor. The cloak fired horizontally; Meno rose a body length, kept the current rock between his feet and the lava, and continued attacking from above the line. Punishment vanished while Meno was already airborne.
He brushed the next reset meteor with one foot, refreshed False Wings, and reached the new perch as the cloak finished materializing. A meteor scraped past them as Punishment began a Disintegration Beam. Meno struck with his right hand, touched one foot to the passing rock, and let it drag his body sideways just far enough for the beam line to lock in the right direction. Then he kicked back into sword range as Verdict appeared in his left.
During the eighteenth window, Meno turned around a beam line, watched it erase one surface from the field, and picked the next three before the black line finished crossing the arena. Punishment fell to 24% HP. A beam erased Meno's intended reset before he committed to it, so he dropped onto the upper edge of the crossing meteor instead, refreshed False Wings, and used its falling angle to launch harder toward Punishment's new perch. He arrived with every kick available. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right.
[Erasure | Cast: 0. 5] Late. Already won. Meno stayed inside the forming radius. The twelfth attack landed. Detonation nineteen erupted, dropping Punishment to 20. 5% HP. Meno took the last fraction of Erasure's cast as his escape cue and launched out while the lethal area formed behind him. The next window threw two Disintegration Beam casts at him. He dodged the first with footwork on the falling meteor, circling Punishment without breaking the alternating attacks.
The second forced one small False Wings correction, but Meno folded it into his outbound route instead of losing time. Detonation twenty pushed Punishment below 20%, to 17% HP. Final Decree activated through Vervenzal's Verdict. Punishment did not transform, accelerate, enrage, or enter another pattern. No new spell appeared. The cloak kept obeying the same rules at the same speed. Punishment gained no second phase. Meno had become the phase transition.
BOSS BELOW TWENTY GOGOGO five straight since last fail PBG ENRAGE TIMER"KEEP UP!" Meno screamed. He began planning three surfaces at once: the rock dying beneath him, the rock Punishment would take after Teleport, and the rock he would touch afterward to refresh False Wings. Beams removed rival destinations. Beam lines became launch cues. Falling stones became buttons he touched only long enough for the game to say yes.
From below, Meno looked like he was sprinting upward across a collapsing staircase of meteors without falling with any of them. Punishment Teleported to the next highest rock. Meno was already there. Expulsion erased nothing that mattered. The last Detonation had already completed, Pursuit had not lapsed, Break Infernal still burned, and the right-left sequence began on the first possible frame. Detonation twenty-one left Punishment at 12% HP.
Meno launched before the cloak vanished, clipped the upper face of another meteor with one foot, and arrived at the next destination from above. Punishment materialized beneath him. Vervenzal's Verdict came down in his right hand. Vanished. Returned in his left. The attacks continued through a beam cast, curved around the cloak, and reached 66 Chain before the meteor beneath them had fallen halfway to the floor. Detonation twenty-two left Punishment at 6% HP. The boss kept obeying every rule perfectly.
Perfection had become predictable. It no longer looked like Meno was chasing Punishment. Punishment looked trapped inside Meno's route.
"FASTER!" Detonation twenty-three began with Punishment too far sideways on a meteor already close to impact. Disintegration Beam opened during Meno's approach, so he entered outside the line with two False Wings kicks saved for Erasure and aimed the cast through the rock that would have blocked the next Teleport route. The cast committed. One short correction moved him clear. The obstruction vanished and the Pursuit projectile landed.
Meno started the alternating-hand sequence before both feet had settled on Punishment's perch. Erasure appeared after hostile contact. A second Beam threatened the reset rock beneath his return path. Expulsion would arrive only a fraction before the current meteor hit the molten floor. Right. Left. Right. The meteor dropped. Left. Right. [Erasure | Cast: 0. 5] Five attacks completed. Seven remained. Staying killed the window. Leaving now kept it alive, but only if he returned on the correct hand.
Meno attacked once more and launched clear with both legs. Left had struck last. Right waited. The second Beam began while his launch carried him outside the lethal area. He had already angled the escape so Punishment's line missed the reset meteor and cut through the rock competing with his final destination, all while keeping the next hand loaded in his head. The beam fired. His reset survived. The rival meteor vanished. Erasure collapsed. Meno reversed with one leg.
The third kick carried him back through sword range and onward toward the intermediate meteor. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. He was already passing the cloak when the eleventh attack landed. Detonation twenty-three erupted. Punishment fell to 1% HP. NOT AGAIN AI trolling DON'T THROW CMON WTF FINISH IT COWARD Meno did not look at the health bar. That one string had done everything. Chosen Punishment's final meteor. Saved the intermediate rock that would refresh False Wings on the way there.
Erased the only rival destination. Picked the third rock he would use to survive after the kill. One destination remained. Punishment had never slowed, missed a rule, delayed a cast, or given him a weaker pattern. Meno had simply spent long enough inside the impossible system to run it cleaner than the system could run him. Punishment was a featureless piece of instant death. Meno had become the scarier thing in the sky. Punishment Teleported. The cloak appeared on the predicted highest rock.
Meno was already moving. He touched the intermediate meteor with one foot, refreshed False Wings, and launched as the stone dropped away beneath him. Punishment finished materializing. Meno landed on its meteor at the same instant. Expulsion erased the previous Chain. It did not matter. Break Infernal was active. Pursuit was still alive. Vervenzal's Verdict began in his right hand. 0. 00 seconds The first right-handed attack landed. The final Teleport timer began. Verdict vanished. Left. 0.
08 seconds [Disintegration Beam | Cast: 0. 25] Meno attacked. Right. Left. Right. He circled clockwise around the cloak while the weapon flashed between his hands. The beam cut through the space he had just left and erased a meteor he had already rejected. 0. 55 seconds Left. Right. Left. Punishment's meteor plunged toward the molten floor. Impact would come after Teleport. Irrelevant. 0. 96 seconds [Erasure | Cast: 0. 5] Late. Meno did not leave. Right.
Verdict vanished from his right hand and appeared in his left while the black radius formed around Punishment. The empty right hand recovered as Meno stayed inside the death zone and kept the sequence at light speed, pushing ten attacks per second. Left struck. Verdict returned. 1. 20 seconds The twelfth registered attack landed from Meno's right hand. Detonation.
A black force crushed inward from every direction folding the cloak around a point that did not exist, then ripped it out of the sky as the last sliver of HP hit zero. [Titan's Gambit Cleared] YESSS LETS GO THORN LIVES!!! ACTUALLY DID IT NO WAY EXPLOITGOD THIRTEEN MILLION STREAM I WAS HERE HE DID IT BAN BAN BAN HE ACTUALLY DID IT GODMODE The meteors vanished in a burning blaze, and Meno dropped toward the restored colosseum floor with nothing left under his feet.
He stopped himself with a final kick, hit the ground, and threw his head back toward the burning sky.
