After Rosa was practically dragged away by the maids and they ensured she was safely taken back to her room, Mrs Roosevelt left to bring a healer. She had instructed the healer to do something simple: check Nina's condition and heal her if necessary. However, just as the healer approached, the system suddenly spoke.

"Do not allow the healer to heal you." Hearing that, Nina turned toward the healer and shook her head.

"I do not need your healing." The healer looked between Nina and Miss Roosevelt, clearly wanting to say something, but before he could, Miss Roosevelt raised her hand. The maids stepped forward and reluctantly escorted the healer out of the room. After ensuring the person had left and that everything was secure, Miss Roosevelt cast a silencing spell around the room. While she was doing so, Nina turned inward toward the system.

"Hey."

"The person is gone." The system responded.

"Is there anything you need, host?"

"Since you're bringing it up... can you put the timer in the corner of my perception?" Nina paused.

"Something similar to the status screen. If I want to see it, it will appear. If I do not want to see it, it will disappear."

"Is that all you want?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure you do not want to know why I told you not to allow the healer to heal you?"

"I'm certain."

"Understood." With that, the conversation ended. At the same time, Miss Roosevelt finished casting the silencing spell. Nina noticed, out of the corner of her eye, that the countdown had already appeared. There was now just under 27 days remaining.

"Nina?" Miss Roosevelt's voice pulled her attention back. After a while, following Miss Roosevelt's explanation, Nina finally understood what had happened after she collapsed. When the young nobles who had been had been with her realized the situation, they immediately panicked, fearing for her safety. They had gathered together and searched for someone who could provide assistance. When they discovered that it was Nina who had been found, Miss Roosevelt's group immediately stepped forward to retrieve her.

"The healers said that because of the barrier you created, their magic could not even reach you," Miss Roosevelt explained.

"They could only stabilize your condition from the outside, and even they did not understand what was happening."

"Before the situation settled down and people began asking too many questions, we decided it would be better to quietly bring you away. We thanked them for finding you and told them that we would handle the rest."

"We then quickly returned using our own mount." Miss Roosevelt paused.

"Fortunately, we did so."

"According to the information I gathered, the crown prince had been searching for the person responsible for manipulating the barrier." She looked at Nina seriously.

"That would have been troublesome."

"You have been unconscious for approximately 72 hours."

"No need. Do you happen to have a washroom I could use?" Mrs. Roosevelt looked slightly surprised by the request.

"Yes, of course." She gave Nina directions before hesitating.

"Would you like me to have a maid assist you?"

"There is no need." Nina slowly stepped off the bed. However, the moment she tried to walk, her body immediately betrayed her. Her legs weakened, and she nearly fell face-first onto the ground. Fortunately, Mrs. Roosevelt quickly caught her.

"You have been unconscious for three days. Your muscles have weakened from the lack of movement. I would not recommend trying to move too quickly."

"I see."

"If you do not wish for a maid to assist you, then allow me to help. I do not mind." Mrs. Roosevelt smiled faintly.

"After all, this is merely a fraction of what you have done for us. I do not know if we would have survived if it were not for you." Nina, supported by Mrs. Roosevelt as they walked toward the washroom, listened quietly to her praise. However, inside her mind, a different thought appeared. Yeah. "Are you finished, Nina?"

"Yes. Thank you for bringing me."

"Of course. The pleasure is all mine." Miss Roosevelt helped Nina back toward the bed, carefully guiding her steps.

"By the way, Nina..." She paused.

"During the past month or so, did you ever help an elderly woman who was attacked by several individuals?" Nina froze. She wanted to answer no. However, remembering that the action had been the result of Elias and Damien working together, she closed her mouth before reluctantly responding.

"Yes. May I ask why?" Miss Roosevelt helped Nina sit down before continuing.

"It seems that the person you helped is a dear friend of mine. After hearing that you were the person who saved her, she wished to meet you."

"Is that so?"

"She wanted to repay her gratitude and return the clothing you gave her at the time." Nina was about to refuse. Then she paused.

"Right... I still need to get that back." She stared at the ceiling, thinking carefully. She remembered Lily's reaction when she discovered that she could not fully enjoy her altered appearance and that many of her outfits had been limited because the required material was gone. Lily had been rather upset about it. Thinking about that, Nina turned her attention back toward Miss Roosevelt, who was standing nearby. Looking into her eyes, Nina noticed a faint sense of guilt. She misunderstood the reason.

Perhaps Miss Roosevelt felt guilty because she had told the woman about Nina without asking her first.

"Did she tell you where she wanted to meet?"

"Oh, you do not need to go immediately. You have only just awakened, and you still need time to recover."

"What day does she want to meet?"

"One week from today."

"One week..." Nina thought briefly.

"Can you find out where and what time during the day?"

"Of course." Miss Roosevelt smiled lightly.

"I will find out the details and tell you."... She gently held the door handle before leaving.
