Chương 6: Kidnapping Bella

After getting the blood from Cecilia, I moved toward the lower floor. There was one more thing I needed before I could leave to get the Heirflame. Soon, I arrived at another room, and after opening the door, I entered. The room was vastly different from Cecilia's. It lacked the same luxury that Cecilia's room, or even mine, had, and everything about it felt much simpler. There, on the bed, a woman immediately woke up because of the sound the door made when it opened.

She was clutching the bedsheet tightly around herself, her plump chest hidden beneath it as she looked at me with a frightened and timid expression.

"Sir... Edwin, why visit at such a late hour?" Bella asked.

"I need something from you." Because of my Supreme Butler trait, my voice came out pretty flat, almost as if I were demanding something rather than asking for it, making it clear that refusing me wasn't really an option.

"I knew this day would come sooner or later, but I never thought it would be you, Sir Edwin." Then, releasing a nervous breath, she said something that I didn't quite understand. Her expression became increasingly panicked as she fumbled with the bed sheet, revealing the outline of her mature figure beneath the thin white garment.

"It's... not that I mind at all. It's just so sudden." What was she even talking about? I had no idea.

"Are you going to talk while staying on the bed?" Her face immediately turned bright red as she stared down at the floor.

"On... on the floor? Wouldn't it be cold?"

"You said something?" I asked.

"No..." She stood up, and like a scared cat, she slowly stepped out of her bed and began walking toward me. Very slowly. What was wrong with her? Wait, now that she was this close to me, I could see just how beautiful and soft she actually looked, and before I could let that thought go any further. [Sovereign Composure activated.] Instantly my mind cleared and I realize that she was actually kind of dangerous, because I had almost been enchanted by her despite my willpower being nearly 600, which was honestly ridiculous enough that I couldn't help but wonder what exactly was so special about her. Once she was only a few inches away from me, I had to look down to see her face, and with her cheeks completely red and her head barely reaching my chest, she looked almost like a frightened cat standing in front of me.

"Please be gentle, Sir Edwin," she said. Then she slowly reached for the straps of her dress, and I immediately grabbed both of her hands to stop her. Wait, wait! What is going on? Was she seriously thinking that I had come here to do that? My brain was practically short-circuiting at this point, and I hadn't even realized that I was holding her hands and shoulders a little too tightly until I felt just how incredibly soft they were beneath my fingers. She's so soft. Is this even real?

Then I heard a faint whisper, so quiet that I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all if not for my enhanced hearing.

"If you want it rough, then... I won't mind." – It took almost 10 minutes to get things under control and explain to her that I wasn't here to do what she had been thinking. As I walked towards the exit, I gave the man stationed near the wall an order to open the mansion gate, and soon the massive iron doors began to open as I walked out of the mansion, with Bella closely following behind me. Her face was redder than the color red itself. She looked cute, though.

"Bella," I called out to her. She didn't respond. She was still muttering something under her breath.

"I wanna die... I wanna die... I wanna die... Someone kill me, please." I called her name again, which finally seemed to bring her out of her daze.

"Bella, we're here because, as your senior, I have a responsibility toward you."

"What do you mean, Sir Edwin?"

"Don't you want to become a maid in the main house or are you planning to stay here all your life. Maybe you can even become the head maid one day."

"I don't know, Sir Edwin. I kind of like it here. Yeah, there are some people who don't like me. For example, Ellie. Do you know she threw some of my clothes into the dirt just so I would get scolded by you? She's a really mean person." Oh my god. The only reason I was going through this much trouble this late at night was because I had absolutely no idea about the actual location of the place I needed to go to. This story has been stolen from Royal Road.

If you read it on Amazon, please report it I knew where it was. I literally remembered the entire map of Ossraith and even the world of Luminary and Its Hidden Nightmare, but this was the real world, not some fictional map where knowing the location was enough to reach it. I might know where the place was, but that didn't mean I knew how to actually get there.

And Bella, with her social-butterfly personality and all the outside errands she had been sent on, definitely knew more about the surrounding area than I did. I sighed slightly and placed a hand against my forehead. [Sovereign Aura activated.] She immediately stopped talking.

"Now, you don't have any say in this. No matter what your personal goals are, you have to become better at what you do." I looked at her seriously.

"So, I'm going to test you. If you fail, I'll make sure you work the entire day without any food." I literally watched her face go from happy, to shocked, and finally to something that screamed monster.

"It's a very simple test. You just need to tell me the locations of a few places."

"Do you understand?" She nodded unwillingly.

"Good. Tell me where the merchant house near us is." She answered.

"Good. Now, where is the farmhouse we get our food supplies from?" She answered again.

"Good. Now tell me where the nearest major waterfall is within 30 kilometers." She thought for a moment before answering.

"Good. Now tell me the location of a waterfall within 10 kilometers." She answered. This woman… She knows everything. Even I didn't know there were this many waterfalls around here.

"Tell me the location of the water source around the southwest forest, within 25 kilometers." She answered almost immediately. T his is the place.

"Now, let's check whether your answers are actually correct or not." I started walking toward her. She looked at me with a slightly confused expression.

"Now, Sir Edwin?" she asked.

"Yes?"

"Let me get the buggy."

"No need." I shook my head.

"Just point me toward the location." She stared at me with an expression that seemed to say that she had no idea what was happening, but at the same time, she didn't care enough to question it. She really had an incredibly expressive face. As I got closer to her, she immediately went into a defensive stance and put her hands in front of her.

"Don't hit me, Sir Edwin! I'll start walking!" I ignored her words and gently picked her up, carrying her onto my back. Wrong decision. She was so soft and she smelled really good. [Sovereign Composure activated.] My mind immediately cleared again.

"Now, point toward the location." Bella hesitated before raising her hand and pointing into the distance.

"That way…" With my 100000 stat points in strength, even a simple sprint was enough to push me beyond a 100 kilometers per hour. And the moment I started sprinting. I heard Bella scream for her life. – It took me 15 minutes to reach the destination. We were already quite deep inside the southwestern jungle by then. When I dropped Bella onto the grass, she immediately started stumbling around like a drunkard, trying to regain her balance, and honestly, it was pretty funny to watch.

I ignored her for the moment and focused on the sound of the waterfall in front of me. After clearing the two trees blocking my path, I finally reached the place I had been looking for. It was a large and beautiful waterfall. The water was falling into a pool that looked to be around 10 feet deep, and I was standing right at the edge of the cliff overlooking it. Then I simply jumped.

My body descended through the air before I landed gracefully in the water, barely creating a splash before I moved closer to the waterfall. After taking a few more steps, I turned my head and looked back at Bella, who was still standing at the edge of the cliff.

"Stay there." She didn't seem to understand what I was doing, but she simply nodded. I turned back toward the waterfall and walked straight into it. The water was falling with quite a force, enough that it felt like I was carrying 20 kilograms on top of my head, but it wasn't enough to cause me any real discomfort. After a few more steps, I found myself inside the small cave hidden behind the waterfall. Just as I remembered.

I walked toward the far end of the cave, where the path seemed to end, then turned to my right and knelt down. There was a small stone slab embedded into the ground, covered with strange, ancient markings. This was supposed to be a small hidden event involving Cecilia. In the original game, when the protagonist was searching for a criminal, he eventually discovered that the criminal was hiding within the territory ruled by the Rosenkreuz family.

When Cecilia heard that the protagonist was looking for the criminal, she offered to help him, although, of course, she had her own reasons for doing so. But one thing led to another, and Cecilia eventually ended up fighting the criminal here in the jungle. During the fight, the criminal threw a bomb at her, causing the ground beneath her to collapse and sending her falling into this very place. She was supposed to be heavily wounded by then, with her blood spilling onto the stone slab.

And that was what triggered the hidden entrance. I took the vial of blood from my pocket and then poured a good amount of the blood onto the slab. The moment the blood touched the ancient markings, they began to glow. Ding! New Objective: Find Heirflame The entire wall in front of me suddenly began to move, revealing a hidden passage behind it. — Outside, Bella was starting to feel sleepy. Being inside a jungle this late at night was probably the last thing she had expected when she left the mansion.

She let out a long yawn before stumbling toward a nearby tree and leaning against it, stretching her arms above her head. Then she felt her hand touch something. She slowly looked up. Her hand was stuck inside a beehive. For a moment, she simply stared at it. Then the hive began to shake.

"..."

"AHHHHH!" Bella immediately ran away screaming.

"SOMEONE SAVE ME!" Behind her, an entire swarm of angry bees chased after her.
