Chương 178: New Missions.

'Are you guys not going to give me a mission to increase my chakra?' Haruto asked the tenants living inside the template inventory space.

'Hmmm…' Unohana and Grindelwald looked unconvinced as did Edward.

'Isn't that something you're about to do anyway?'

'Well I was about to do everything else too wasn't I?' Haruto argued. Surprisingly it was Megamind that interrupted everyone's silence at that moment, 'Progress… must be celebrated.' and then issued a mission to Haruto. Mission Aim: Increase chakra capacity to Kage level. Mission Assigned By: Megamind. Mission Reward: All knowledge regarding physical sciences. Haruto gasped in surprise while looking at the contents of the mission.

'Seriously Megamind? You're giving me all the knowledge you own?' Megamind sighed and spoke softly, 'While looking at you break the meteorite and save the lives of everyone in the village… I admit… I felt a little touched even if it was not a very villainous thing to do… it reminded me of my own plight against Hal…' Haruto sighed at Megamind's plight before reassuring him, 'I promise I'll finish whatever this is properly so that you can go back to beat Hal up as per your contract.'

'Thank you.' Megamind nodded. That was when Shinra spoke up, 'I have a mission for you as well.' Mission Aim: Exorcise the demons in the land of demons. Mission Assigned By: Shinra Kusakabe. Mission Reward: Rapid / Tora Hishigi Kata hand seal. Haruto let out a low whistle.

'Wasn't that the technique that allowed you to break the sound barrier?' Shinra nodded, 'It was, so as long as you get rid of the demons in this world, I will be satisfied to give you that ability.'

'Cool…' That was when Korosensei spoke up, 'Haruto-kun… I have a mission for you as well.' Mission Aim: Assassinate a Kage Level Opponent. Mission Assigned By: Korosensei. Mission Reward: Korosensei's assassination skills. Haruto's eyes widened in shock and surprise. While the reward of this task was simply enormous, its difficulty was equally broken.

'Which Kage level shinobi do I assassinate?'

'Rasa?' The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

'No… let's keep him aside for now… what about Yagura?'

'Isn't he still controlled by the genjutsu from Obito? Or did that genjutsu stop when Obito died?'

'I doubt Madara will remain indifferent to Yagura… he's a Jinchurki and also a Kage… which means Madara could use him to wage a harsh war against the shinobi world to weaken it before he executes the eye of the moon plan…'

'Hmm…'

'Can Yagura's genjutsu be overwritten by legilimency or Shisui's genjutsu eye?' Haruto folded his hands and began thinking by himself for a while until he thought himself into an interesting possibility.

'What if…' Haruto asked his template inventory residents.

'What if we use Shisui's eyes on Madara himself?'

'Could we make Madara off Madara?' Haruto's hands trembled slightly at the possibility before another strange idea crawled its way into his head.

'What if… what if we use Shisui's eyes on Black Zetsu?'

'No… is Black Zetsu even our enemy at this point?'

'Should I be eager to summon Kaguya and make her fight the other Otsutsuki clan members?'

'Wait… in that case… can I trick Madara into being sacrificed for Kaguya?'

'Or is this a risky plan and will Kaguya try to create another chakra fruit once again so that she can power up further at the cost of the planet?' Sigh…

'Complicated.'

'Troublesome.'

'And thankless.'

'Why do I even need to do all this complicated stuff?'

'Wouldn't it simply be easy to leave it all to Naruto and have him and Sasuke join forces and beat the final boss purely with the power of friendship bordering bl?'

'You need to reach the end as soon as possible for us Haruto-kun.' Unohana reminded softly from the back of Haruto's mind, dragging him out of the pit of thoughts he was in. Haruto nodded, 'I get it…' but he did sigh about it a little. In the end simply thinking about parting with the people he'd lived with everyday for such a long time left him feeling a little empty.

Leaving the decision of choosing which chakra improvement method he would follow for later, Haruto who was sitting in the Senju training grounds looked at the mission scroll and smiled.

'Counting the mission by Unohana and Grindelwald as two different missions, I've completed five missions once again.'

'Should I draw another character now?' Haruto looked at the bright gibbous moon in the sky with a soft smile.

'I wonder which golden or rarer character would appear at this point.'

'Will their abilities even be helpful anymore? Now that I have so many powers to pursue… it all feels a little overwhelming.' After a few more questions to himself Haruto decided to hold off the card drawing for now since he wanted to concentrate on compressing his current knowledge for now to turn everything he knew into one mean lean killing machine.

Eventually, after a short while, Haruto got up from the floor of the training ground and walked up to his room in the Senju compound and sat down on the desk with the Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags scroll.

"Let's see how this works…" Haruto browsed through the scroll, skimming the contents for the first read as he squinted his eyes slightly to understand everything.

'Hmm…'

'So the process works by using a special tenketsu in the chakra circulation system which allows the body to take on the property of the chakra nature that the body trains in?'

'That simple?'

'Why isn't this more widely used then?'

'Is it because the knowledge regarding this tenketsu is kept hidden from everyone by those that know about it?'

'Or simply because transforming your body into an element carries the risk of you being captured or taken advantage of like that one clan that orochimaru met who could convert their bodies into wind but unfortunately a strong gust of wind would kill them?' Slowly Haruto went through the scroll in more detail, trying to understand why such a method was kept a secret in the shinobi world and why there weren't many users of this method.

After all, the people in the show who could elementalize could be counted on one hand. Knock Knock After a little bit of jumping around through the text, Haruto was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when there was a sudden knock on the door.

'Huh? Who's here in the middle of the ni-''Damn… it's morning already.' Haruto thought while looking at the bright sky outside the window. Haruto stood up from the chair and opened the door, only to find Tsunade on the other side of it.

"Come on, follow me, we're going to the Konoha Hospital." Tsunade said softly.

"I haven't slept." Haruto said quietly.

"Not my problem." Tsunade replied promptly. Haruto quickly followed Tsunade after simply washing his face and broke into a jog until he caught up with her, at which point he found her handing out a small pill to him which she pulled out of a sealing scroll.

'What's this?' Haruto wondered before tossing the polished pill that looked like a yellow candy chocolate into his mouth. Almost immediately Haruto recognised his mistake. He only then understood why people said 'One must not eat things strangers offer.' The pill tasted horrendous. It felt like he'd just tasted and eaten a hundred ton pile of Danzo's shit.

"Poison!!!" Haruto exclaimed as he nearly spat out what he'd eaten before Tsunade clamped his lips shut with a pinch forcing him to swallow. Tsunade looked at Haruto with an annoyed expression for causing everyone among the hospital staff to look at them with confused expressions before she hit his head. BANG!

"It's a food pill, you brat!" Haruto held his head still wanting to file a complaint against Tsunade for feeding him shit, even as energy filled him. He felt violated. In the end, left with no other choice, Haruto simply followed Tsunade to a familiar room where Shizune was already waiting.

"Are the preparations done?" Tsunade asked Shizune. Shizune nodded, "They are Tsunade-sama…"
