Bestiary: Living Armor Appearance: The Living Armor cannot appear without a host. When it does, it wraps around their body like a suit of, well, armor. It morphs to fit their skin because its own skin is malleable and squishy. It's like a black, fleshy, slime with veins running through it. The flesh often pulsates and bubbles erratically. It has a single eyeball and a mouth that is easily camouflaged within the amalgamation of the rest of its form.

The armor can form tentacle-like extensions from anywhere on it to attack or defend its host. When resting, it will often leave some tentacles extended, which then flow like seaweed in the ocean upon the host's back. Loot Drop: Living Armor (Beast Summon) Like with all beast summons, the loot is the monster itself, meaning the only way to acquire it would be to kill its host. When equipped, the living armor will act as a shell for the user, absorbing attacks into its fleshy body in place of its host.

Also its ability to extend itself into attacking limbs can attack enemies as well. Though its attacks won't do much damage on their own, it has a vise grip and will often attempt to put you into its mouth. Where you'd go after that is unknown. However, it has a threshold on the amount of damage it can take, as well as a particular weakness to fire. If one can burn it, it becomes relatively easy to rip off the skin of the host as long as its mouth doesn't swallow you whole first. It will attack anything that's coming to harm its host. It will defend from anything doing the same. However, when not in battle, the thing is downright creepy. Just staring at you with its cyclops eye and drooling out of its open mouth. A theory could be posed that it has a strange hunger that it needs to satiate. Typically, if it catches something in its tentacles, its next motion is to attempt to eat it. There are no reports of the demons needing to eat food to survive.

Some do rely on their mouths and teeth as weapons. But thing… it looks almost excited to taste anything it can get its hands on.
