Chương 89: [AUS Origins: Vionette Crimvane]

We are here on Vionette's origins, baby! As I said at the time I uploaded the full illustration of her, the final design was made after a lot of other designs. Here's the oldest to the newest in order (there were some more designs, but I've somehow lost them).

This is the current design btw, if you're wondering: Alright, Chapter 8—where we first get to meet her. I was originally thinking of making her appear right after the explosion destroys the whole church. When Noa was lying on the ground, she was supposed to come with Isla and help him. Then he wakes up in bed, she's next to him, they talk, go to the dining table, and then comes the contract with [A Match Made in Hell].

At that time, they were supposed to say some cringe shit, like Noa asking, "What would you do if someone gets in front of our plans?" and her replying, "I'll eliminate them all" (I'm gonna throw up). Then came the agreement to become her partner. Then we get her story in Chapter 11, and goddamn, ain't her Korean name hard to remember. I still don't remember it except for the "Han" part.

No hate to the Koreans though, cuz every time, I had to go back and check even her current name "Vionette" until I passed like Chapter 20 (I'm not good at remembering faces and names, sadly). I opened my laptop, went to Word, titled the page "Chapter 11," and then was like: "What the fuck am I supposed to write now?" I did what I always do—just go with the flow of the background music and larp the novel—and that's how her past was created. Then when she wakes up as Vionette, I was like, "Now what?"

I wanted to make the scene cool and was feeling a little childish, so I added the system. Then I was like, "Ain't this OP and too cliché?" So I broke the system. Then, at the end of Chapter 11, there was some big ahh explanation about how the power system works along with Skills, Magic, Barriers, Aether, Spirits, and other stuff. But seeing as it paused the scene, I deleted the whole shit. Don't worry, the next arc is gonna explain most of the power system of Mythara (by Professor Vionette).

Aside from appearing in Chapter 8, the first idea I actually had in mind was while Noa and his classmates were training in the castle, she comes to the castle and kind of—well, you can say in a way—"buys" him. But it didn't fit the reputation of Crimvane at the time and it was so boring, so I erased the whole part. The first version of Vionette was supposed to be more shy than the flirty one right now—like, for example, in the hot spring scene, she was supposed to be so embarrassed.

But then I just changed her to, well, my fav type (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) There might be some other stuff I forgot. Well, if I do something like this again, I'll talk about it at that time.
