Chương 1: Prologue

The dream world, a utopia of magic, quests, kings and princesses, all set in a fantasy world where academy dating was the one and only chance to find true love and adventure. This was the dream for Laura who grew up reading about many worlds but ultimately fell in love with the game of To Love An Empire. A story about how one woman set to inherit a dying kingdom must go to a magic academy where she would forge friendships and pacts that would ultimately help rebuild her lost empire.

Laura always dreamed of being in this world. The magic system was so diverse and adaptive. It had so many hidden secrets and easter eggs that she would get lost in the gameplay for days, searching and exploring each and every section that the game world had to conquer. Yes, there were dragons, but nothing said, "I didn't need a man" like being able to single handedly slay a dragon by herself. Well, that wasn't entirely true. In the world the main heroine Princess Claudia Von'Roseblade had one faithful servant by her side. The cute, feisty, but ultimately loving Ugly Frumpy Friend that always accompanied her on her journeys. At the time of her death Laura's one true wish was to be reborn in this bright and fantastic world.

Her thoughts were that even if she was reborn as one of the evil love interests, she would still easily be able to woo Princess Claudia, that or rebuild her own empire that would then conquer the Roseblade kingdom. What she didn't expect was for her wish to be fulfilled. Nor did she expect to be reborn as the Ugly Frumpy Friend, the one that was cute, but only made cute to show off how truly beautiful Princess Claudia was.

The one who was healthy and vibrant to be around, but only as a rebound girl for when Claudia ultimately rejected another suitor. This was Laura's second chance at life in her dream world, as anything but her dream character. Now Laura must traverse the awkwardness of college level classes, learn magic, partake in quests, and ultimately help her master find the best match to help her regrow her home to its former glory. At least those were the instructions that Laura was given when she entered the world.
