Chương 89: UPDATE
The God of Death Just Wants to Quit?! · Fallen Pages · 95 chương · ~5 phút đọc · Tạo 22/08/2026
Hey everyone, Here I am again, bothering you with a chapter that really isn't one. But there have been a few things going on lately. First of all, today is a very sad day. Someone is currently killing the novel with an advanced review that gave it 1 star for Story and 0. 5 stars for Characters... This is a very simple story with a very simple premise, and it has never pretended to be something else. Basically, I feel like I'm selling apples and someone gave me 0. 5 stars because they're apples.
I honestly don't understand the logic behind that at all... If anyone who has been reading the novel was already thinking about writing a review, or updating their current review into an advanced one, an honest evaluation of the story and characters for what they actually are would be very much appreciated. It would help a lot to fight that bomb. I'm really sorry for the whining, but this was a pretty serious hit to my morale, to be honest. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
But yeah, advanced reviews can be quite a pain to write, so obviously I can't ask anyone to go through all that just because of this. Apparently, sometimes you need to really hate a fiction to find the motivation to write an advanced review... Still, I have a good number of wonderful reviews that I reread whenever I'm feeling tired or discouraged, so things aren't all that bad. On a much brighter note, the series in Japan reached a new record of #19 in the Isekai Daily Rankings, which is honestly amazing.
It was sitting among giants with anime adaptations, manga adaptations, and hundreds of chapters. Though understandably, since the series is still very new and relatively unknown there, it has already fallen out of the rankings and things have cooled down. I still don't know whether the overall result was good enough, but if you can, it would be a great help if you could bookmark the story and give some likes to the chapters of the Japanese version. We might see something interesting happen if it performs well.
Of course, the competition there is extremely tough, so I can't promise anything. That's all for now. Fallen Pages P. S. For those who have the time and really like the novel, I'll leave the links here. Link for reviews Link for the Japanese release
