The Empty Tutorial

The world ends, and Caleb Strong finds himself in a gamified version of reality, inside a tutorial that is meant to prepare him for the new world. But there is something wrong with the tutorial, something missing. Whoever is supposed to be giving him instructions seems to be missing somehow. Now, along with the friends he meets along the way, he has to figure out how the new world is going to work, what is going to happen, and why the tutorial is incomplete in the first place. After finishing the tutorial, Caleb and friends end up in the new world, where they discover a loophole in the system that allows them to massively power up. They start to hear rumors of a God Killer as they begin to adventure in their new world, eventually chasing down the God Killer, following them across the ocean, and making an attempt, alongside the God Killer, to become gods themselves. Assuming that's what they actually want.
