Chương 45: The Return of The Magician

Good morning, everyone! Hope you all have been doing well. I'll be returning to Patreon's regular posting schedule next month, meaning that Book 5 will finish on Patreon in early December. What does that mean for Royal Road's return? I'll wait until Patreon is back to 30 chapters ahead of Royal Road. If I'm doing my math right, that means the story will start back on Royal Road in the first week of December!

Chapters average about 7k words right now, so I'll move to a two-per-week posting schedule on both platforms. I'll likely post on Monday and Wednesday, or potentially Monday and Friday. I really appreciate the support and constant engagement that people have shown the story during my long break! It was very needed, however! I've had to do a ton of traveling this year, gotten a new full-time job, gone to two different book conventions to sell the books, and am getting married at the end of this month!!!

The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. I've had some people ask in the Discord, so I'll answer it here as well: Will you be taking a break after Book 5? No. Book 6 is mostly plotted already, and since I've already been on a long break here, I'm planning ot move directly into Book 6. I might take a one week pause at most if I wanted to organize the start a bit more, but I'm hoping that the padding with Patreon will prevent any need for that.

I'm planning to be less active on Royal Road this go around. Some of the negativity on the platform can be challenging to deal with. If you've got constructive criticism or want to just have fun discussing the story, I highly encourage you to join the Discord!
