Chương 77: Chapter 75: The Seven Heirs

The fires of Ayanor still burned. Although the celestial army had retreated, smoke continued to rise from shattered homes and broken towers. Throughout the capital, soldiers and civilians worked side by side, clearing debris and searching for survivors. Victory had come at a terrible cost. Rayan stood atop the eastern wall of the capital, watching the sun rise over the scarred horizon. The city was wounded. Yet it still stood. Behind him, footsteps echoed across the stone.
"You haven't slept." Rayan smiled faintly without turning around.
"I could say the same to you." Siena stopped beside him, her silver hair dancing in the morning breeze. The usual calm in her golden eyes was softened by concern.
"You keep carrying everything alone."
"I have to."
"No." She shook her head.
"You choose to." Silence settled between them. Below, children laughed while helping knights rebuild a collapsed marketplace. Even after witnessing war... Life continued. Siena watched them quietly.
"That's what we're protecting." Rayan nodded.
"Exactly." Several hours later, the Grand Hall of Ayanor welcomed leaders from every surviving kingdom. Unlike their previous meeting, there was no fear in the room. Only determination. King Dasrath stepped forward.
"The siege proved one thing."
"Our kingdoms cannot survive alone." One by one, rulers nodded. The Queen of Valoria spoke first.
"My borders have already fallen." An elderly emperor added,"The northern trade routes no longer exist." A guild master clenched his fists.
"Our strongest Astra users died defending villages that no longer stand." The room fell silent. Then every gaze turned toward Rayan. Not because he was a prince. Because they were waiting. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. Waiting for the one person who had stood against the First Child of Origin. Rayan slowly rose.
"We've spent centuries protecting our own kingdoms." He looked around the chamber.
"And because of that..."
"We nearly lost our world." His voice remained calm.
"But the enemy doesn't see kingdoms."
"They see humanity." He placed both hands on the massive map covering the central table.
"So from today onward..."
"We fight as one." Silence. Then King Dasrath smiled proudly.
"The Continental Alliance is officially born." One after another, every ruler placed their seal upon the treaty. For the first time in recorded history... Humanity stood united. That night... The crystal awakened once more. Golden light surrounded Rayan as he sat alone within the royal library. Thousands of ancient books lined the walls, but none interested him. Only the crystal. It floated before him. Warm. Brilliant. Alive. The familiar white hall returned. Valen stood waiting.
"You've grown stronger." Rayan wasted no time.
"The Guardian said there were seven Dharma Heirs."
"There were."
"Then where are they?" Valen walked toward seven towering pillars surrounding the hall. Each pillar bore a different emblem. Only two glowed. Arkan's. Valen's. The remaining five remained dark.
"Every Dharma Heir inherited one Virtue." Valen placed a hand upon the first pillar.
"Courage." Another.
"Wisdom." A third.
"Justice." A fourth.
"Compassion." A fifth.
"Sacrifice." A sixth.
"Leadership." Finally... The last pillar.
"Hope." Golden light flowed between every pillar until they formed a single circle.
"No heir ever mastered them all." Rayan frowned.
"Not even Arkan?" Valen smiled sadly.
"Especially not Arkan."
"He possessed unmatched strength."
"But strength alone cannot complete the Dharma Astra." Realization slowly dawned on Rayan.
"The complete Dharma Astra..."
"... requires all seven virtues." Valen nodded.
"And all seven heirs." Outside the memory... The Guardian suddenly appeared. His expression had become unusually serious.
"I felt it." Rayan opened his eyes.
"What?"
"The other legacies." The old spirit looked toward the distant mountains beyond Ayanor.
"They're awakening." Almost immediately— A royal knight burst into the library.
"Your Highness!" The man knelt, breathing heavily.
"We've received reports from every corner of the continent." Rayan stood.
"What happened?" The knight unfolded several scrolls.
"They all arrived at the same time." His hands trembled.
"Ancient ruins..."
"... are emerging." Across the continent... A forgotten temple rose from beneath the sea. In the frozen north, a mountain split apart to reveal a colossal stone gate. Deep within the western desert, golden ruins emerged from beneath endless dunes. An abandoned forest awakened after a thousand years of silence. And beneath the sacred volcano of the south... A crimson shrine opened its ancient doors. Five forgotten sanctuaries. Five lost legacies. Each responding to the awakening of the Dharma Astra.
Far beyond the mortal world... Queen Seraphina stood upon the highest balcony of the Celestial Palace. She looked toward the stars. Then quietly closed her eyes.
"So..."
"They've begun to awaken." The six-winged celestial behind her remained silent.
"The Seven Sanctuaries."
"They were never supposed to open again." The Queen's expression remained unreadable.
"Neither was the Dharma Heir." She slowly turned.
"Gather the Archon Commanders."
"We cannot allow Rayan to reach the sanctuaries first." Back in Ayanor... The crystal pulsed one final time. A map appeared in the air. Five golden lights burned across the continent. Each represented a sanctuary. Each contained the legacy of a Dharma Hei r. Rayan stared at the glowing map. His journey had changed. The war was no longer about defending kingdoms. It had become a race against Heaven itself. Whoever reached the Seven Sanctuaries first... Would decide the fate of the world. To Be Continue....
