Z3ke (Original Poster) Yo you guys. You know all that shit I said about hating Lashings and hating all of you for sending me here? Yea. Delete all that. I take it all back. I love this city. Z3ke (Original Poster) This place is fucking awesome. I took everyone's advice and headed to the Lucky Bilge and HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. This palace is like a pirate-themed fever dream and it is amazing.
From the way you all described the place, I was going into the Lucky Bilge thinking it would be your bog-standard gambling hall or something. I've been to Vegas before so it wasn't gonna be anything I hadn't seen before. I figured I'd walk in, lose some money, get some drinks, and then move on. This place is sooooo much more than a gambling hall. It's an entire entertainment district built inside a giant ship.
Right when you walk in there's this enormous bar sitting in the middle of the entrance, except calling it a bar is underselling it. It's more like three bars in a trench coat, and I'm not even exaggerating. It is legit three bars that have all been smushed together, sharing the same space, and each bar has its own crowd and staff and bartenders. Z3ke (Original Poster) I just read that back and I didn't do it justice. I'm gonna try to calm down a bit so I can describe it for you all.
You walk through the front doors of the Lucky Bilge and there is a horseshoe shaped bar sitting right there. The whole thing is surrounded by this wooden railing, with tables scattered around the place. The people working behind the bar are all wearing different uniforms, and at first I thought it was some kind of rank system. Then I realized I was wrong and all the bartenders and servers are actively competing with each other to see who can serve the customers better.
There are people sprinting around with trays while other servers are calling out specials, offering complimentary shots, waving customers over to free tables, and doing everything else they can to convince everyone that their particular bar is the one everyone should be drinking at. Shit is nuts. I saw this one server intercept a sailor who was headed for a table.
He said something I couldn't make out and somehow convinced the guy to sit down and order drinks and a plate of food, and all that came out to him in less than a minute. Z3ke (Original Poster) I just thought about it and I know what it reminds me of. The whole thing is sport. You've got three bars competing against each other while everyone watches.
And by that, I mean there are these long railings that are maybe ten or fifteen feet away from the "main bar seating area" and you can head over there to grab a drink and sit back and watch what's going on in the horseshoe bar. The people who are seated there are drinking and smoking and they're treating the whole thing like a spectator sport. I'm not even joking about that. There were people GAMBLING on where customers would go to sit. Let me repeat that, because it bears repeating.
There were people making bets on which bar a random drunk sailor would choose to sit at. I FUCKING LOVE THIS PLACE. Z3ke (Original Poster) That's just the entrance too. Everywhere I look there are gambling tables, food stalls, merchants, little shops, makeshift stages with musicians playing their hearts out, and just an absurd amount of people. There are sailors everywhere. Some are drinking and some are playing cards and some are arguing about something that happened on a ship. Those aren't even fights.
It's more like good-natured ribbing or an argument that has been going on for so long that half the sting has been taken out of it. There are so many people packed in this place that I sat down at one of the outside railing bars for maybe five minutes just to take everything in, and I somehow got lost. Yea. I got lost sitting down because the crowd is so massive here. It's making my head spin. Whenever I look up, something else is happening. CrushDaddyXx HAAA. It's not combat, but I'll allow it.
Zeke is blowing off steam and he needed that. Ooo. Zeke, you know what would really help blow off some steam? Stand up on the railing and shout 'BAR FIGHT' and crash a chair over some poor sap's head. StoryLeech Don't do that Zeke. But DO keep updating us. How drunk are you right now? You normally collect all your stuff into one single post. MushroomCleric Mmmm… he did something like this back when he was researching the second Fracture in the Deadlands. Remember that? It was almost like a horror movie. Oh shit.
Zeke, are you going to find a second Fracture in Emberveil? Z3ke (Original Poster) Uh… what? What? No. You guys. THIS PLACE IS ALIVE!!! Z3ke (Original Poster) I'm not drunk. I've got a drink and everything, but I'm not drunk. It's just that this place is absolutely amazing. I had a friend of a friend who had never been to NYC before, and we took them to all the normal touristy places. That included Times Square at night. I fucking hate Times Square.
Everyone there walks so goddamn slowly and the place is packed and everyone is staring up at all the buildings like they don't have anything that goes above three stories back in their podunk town. That's probably mean of me to say, but whenever I end up wandering through Times Square I just hate it. But we took my buddy's friend there and their jaw was on the floor.
They were looking up at all the lights and billboards and all the people and they said something about the air in Times Square being different and it was like they were drunk on the experience. I didn't really get it then, but I do now. Lashings is freaking amazing. Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay, I'm gonna ramble for a bit and this might not make sense but I'm gonna try to explain why this is hitting me so hard and I'm not sure I'll do a very good job of it. Cliffhaven was an awesome city.
Like you all said, it had something that I wouldn't have found if I hadn't been isekai'd into this world. It had the singing cliffs and it had all those stairs and everything, but at the same time it was just a city. As much as you all were bigging it up, it was reasonable that I could find a city like that back on Earth. The MIZ was different. There was always this undercurrent that something dangerous was waiting around the corner.
I swear everyone there had a hand near their weapons at all times because everything was a potential threat. Even when nothing was happening, it felt like something was about to happen. But Lashings doesn't feel like that. You guys said that this whole place went through a Fracture of its own, but I'm having a hard time understanding how the Emberveil apocalypse is so much more… benign than the one that happened in Frontiers. People are drinking and arguing and shopping.
They're gambling, flirting, comparing maps with each other, bragging about voyages, and generally having a good time. Nobody is really concerned about some ancient monster crawling out of the ground or worried that they're gonna disappear in the desert fighting some creepy cannibal cult. About twenty feet away there are these sailors and they've surrounded this guy, and when I first saw them I thought they were interrogating him or trying to threaten him or intimidate him or something.
That's how badly the MIZ messed me up. I saw five guys seated around a table and they were leaning forward and questioning this dude, and I immediately thought "oh shit, these guys are gangsters. That guy is getting threatened over a shipment or a heist or something." I was already trying to decide if I should leave before things got violent. Then I actually listened to them and it turns out they were just interviewing him. That's it.
They were talking to the guy and trying to decide whether he's trustworthy enough to join their crew. They were asking him where he's sailed, who he's worked for, what kind of storms he's survived, and all that. Hell, they even bought him another drink while they were talking. Nobody is threatening anyone and nobody has drawn any weapons. They're just trying to decide whether they like the guy. Z3ke (Original Poster) Ugh. I don't know where I'm going here.
I started that last post talking about Times Square and now I'm worried that The MIZ stained me with paranoia. I guess I'm just saying that nobody in this place is trying to save the world. No one is standing around waiting for the other shoe to drop. They're all just living in this city and that is fucking incredible. SoldierofMisfortune Zeke, buddy, pal, I think you're drunk. Hambones Oh. Dood is definitely drunk. OldManKiyote He's not drunk. He's experiencing what we in the business call "safety."
He's found a city that has a bunch of people who aren't actively trying to murder him and he's having a religious experience. CatFacts | Dood is definitely drunk. | Yea. Drunk on safety. Z3ke (Original Poster) That's not a thing. OldManKiyote It absolutely is. You've spent how long getting chased by monsters? Everything that's happened to you in the Fracture-verse has caught up with you, and now you're in a city where you don't have to deal with apocalyptic nonsense.
Your brain doesn't really know how to process that. BaryBybax Oooo. He's like one of those Katrina dogs. Poor Zeke. Z3ke (Original Poster) Fuck all y'all. I'm allowed to be happy. RedCarpetManiac Zeke, you just spent the last few posts describing Lashings like you discovered the lost paradise of mankind. I'm half-expecting you to later tell us you joined a cult because you "witnessed the birth of a new civilization." Liminal_Archivist Hey Zeke, just to be clear with you, Lashings is still a pirate port.
Just because you haven't found the criminal element, doesn't mean it's not out there. Lashings isn't a wholesome seaside community where everyone is holding hands and singing sea shanties. The place is lousy with smugglers, thieves, pirates, fences, black-market merchants, organized crime, and all the rest of that. You just having found it yet. PaperSnakes You guys, let Zeke enjoy his two hours of not being in mortal danger before we introduce him to the criminal underworld. Z3ke (Original Poster) Oh.
People are calling me over. SignalLoss And there it is. Zeke's protagonist energy couldn't let him go a single day without throwing him into the next adventure. Z3ke (Original Poster) No. It's not that. It's a bunch of people that, I think, are from the ship that brought me here. Z3ke (Original Poster) Yep. Definitely them. There's a bunch of the sailors from the ship sitting there and they're waving me over and making fun of the fact that I got a Tech Slate open in my lap in the middle of a drinking house.
Z3ke (Original Poster) What the hell? How are they already this drunk? Seriously. I've been off that ship for maybe three or four hours and these dudes look like they've been drinking since breakfast. One of them just pointed at me and yelled my name, and now all of them are yelling my name. I don't even know how they recognize me from this far away. There are people everywhere, there are like eight musicians here competing amongst themselves, and all of the sailors are drunk as shit.
Z3ke (Original Poster) I'm going over. Hambones HAAA. I love it. I love this version of Zeke. 7Spirals Who wants to bet that Zeke is going to get pulled into a treasure hunt? 3 - 1 Treasure Hunt 4 - 1 Underground Fighting Ring 10 - 1 New Living Story has popped up and Zeke needs to fight it. Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay, everyone is drunk.
This whole situation is odd because I sat down with them and someone immediately shoved a drink in my hand and another dude slapped me on the back hard enough that I almost spilled it all over me. They're treating me like I've known them all my entire life. Everyone is clearly celebrating, but I can't tell if they're celebrating the Krill Kraken fight or the fact that we made it to Lashings or just the fact that sailors celebrate surviving a trip by trying to kill their livers. Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay…
I'm gonna try and tell you what happened but everyone is slurring kinda bad so I'm having trouble translating everything to normal English. This sailor stood up, raised his drink, and started delivering a speech. He was talking about our navigator (some guy named Patrick who I don't think I actually spoke with during the whole fight and voyage.) He said that Patrick once sailed his ship straight into a hurricane, stood at the bow of the ship, looked directly into the eye of the hurricane and told it to "stop being dramatic." Z3ke (Original Poster) The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. What the shit is going on? Everyone is cheering. Patrick was sitting there shaking his head and laughing his ass off, and I thought that was it for the story.
But another guy stood up and said that the first guy couldn't tell a story to save his life and that he'd ruined the best part. According to him, Patrick didn't tell the storm to stop being dramatic. He stood on the bow and cursed at it for ten minutes straight until the storm itself basically got tired of listening to him and apologized before moving on. I don't know what is happening anymore. Z3ke (Original Poster) Everyone has devolved into storytelling and one-upsmanship now. Is that a word? Whatever.
Whenever someone finishes a story, someone else jumps in and says they heard the real version, except the real version is somehow even more ridiculous. They're all laughing and shouting corrections and adding details and arguing over who remembers what happened. It all kinda reminds me of that old Dos Equis commercial. You know the one, the Most Interesting Man in the World. Except every sailor in Lashings is the Most Interesting Man and they're all competing to see who gets the title.
Z3ke (Original Poster) They've moved off of Patrick and this new story is about Jameis. Or James. Honestly, everyone is so drunk the name sounds weird. He's another guy from the ship that I haven't spoken to. One of the sailors stood up and started telling this story and I'm gonna try to give you guys the version as close to what he said.
"I swear to you, I saw this with my own two eyes. We were sailing aboard the cutter Presidente and James was on night watch when the storm hit. I'm not talking about some little rainstorm that blows through and gets the deck wet. I'm talking about the worst storm I've ever seen in my whole life.
"The rain was coming in sideways. The ship was rolling so hard that you couldn't keep your feet under you, and half the younger lads were emptying their stomachs over the rail. But not James. (Jameis?) No. He was everywhere that night. Helping the rooks, hauling lines, steering the ship, grabbing men before the sea could take them. Man was moving like he had ten arms.
"A few hours later and the storm started to die down. We thought we'd made it through the worst of it. I remember looking over at Jamaes (?) and the bastard had the biggest and stupidest grin on his face, like he'd just taken the pot in cards. And then the sea took him.
"One second he was standing there, and the next it was like the hand of God reached down and plucked him right off the deck. I swear the storm itself was angry because Jamis (?) had spent the whole night beating it.
"We searched for three days. Three days of calling his name and sailing back over the same waters. James! Jameis! Jammies! Nothing. Then, on the third day, that storm came back.
"We all knew what it wanted. Jimes wasn't there anymore, which meant nobody was going to save us this time. Then something came through the clouds. I thought it was a bird. But it wasn't. It was Jaimes, floating down out of the sky. He's got both arms of his coat stretched out like wings and he was using the damn thing like a parachute. He lands right on the deck, looks at the captain, gives him a salute and says, 'Sorry I'm late.'
"Then he goes right back to work." Z3ke (Original Poster) James is bright red now and I don't know if it's because he's embarrassed or just drunk. He's just sitting there trying to hide his face while everyone else is absolutely losing their minds. Another sailor stood up and corrected the story, saying it was four days and not three. That started an argument that was broken up because another guy said that James didn't even come back to the Presidente at all.
He rode the storm for three days, found another ship that was about to capsize, looked down at them from the clouds and shouted "not on my watch!" before jumping out of the sky to save them. Everyone is shouting and laughing and adding new details and correcting each others' stories. Someone claimed that James once punched a wave. Another sailor said that's bullshit because everyone knows that James seduces the ocean like it's a lover.
He's just sitting in the middle of all this while people are talking about how incredible he is. Is this normal? What the hell is going on? Saltmines Ooo, Zeke you just stumbled across one of the weirdest pieces of Lashings culture that the game doesn't really explain. This is one of those things that exists in Emberveil if you know where to look, but most people just pass by it. There's an item description in the game that talks about this.
It's attached to a cheap drinking mug you can get in Lashings and it talks about how small debts, favors, and bets in Lashings aren't settled with money. Z3ke (Original Poster) Wait, what? How does that work? Saltmines Well, the tradition is that if you owe someone a small favor or if you lost a bet with them, you could pay it back through a public performance.
A toast is the common version, but the important part is there needs to be an audience and the person you're indebted to has to accept the performance as payment. Z3ke (Original Poster) Really? I just figured it was a bunch of drunk people telling stories and trying to outdo one another. 10161066 It is a bunch of drunk people trying to outdo one another, but that's kind of the point.
Reputation is incredibly important in Lashings, and being publicly recognized as someone worth telling stories about has real social value. Everyone knows that the stories are exaggerated. BUT, at the same time, those stories do contain at least a small kernel of truth. The James guy they're all talking about probably was really good in a storm and now they're just blowing hot air at him to talk about how he's a good worker. Z3ke (Original Poster) And… people just accept this? I'm kinda confused still.
I mean, if I made a bet with someone and won, I'd much rather just have the money. 10161066 It's basically social currency. Reputation is incredibly important in Lashings. It's a place where you're constantly dealing with new crews and strangers. So if you're putting together a crew and you hear someone talking about how John saved his entire ship from a murderous flock of ravens, you're not thinking that John actually did all that. But, you know the people he worked with trust him or they wouldn't lie about him.
You wouldn't tell one of these stories about an asshole is all I'm saying. Remember how you were telling us that there were some sailors interviewing another guy for their crew? I can almost guarantee you that someone at that table heard a tall tale about that sailor, and that's the first bit of proof that they know what they're doing. ArtooDeetoa I'm loving this whole thing. I know Crush is complaining that Zeke isn't fighting anyone, but Zeke is world building here.
The whole performance thing is something that the game doesn't really explore, because it can't do that and still be an action-RPG. There's no way to introduce the story element into Emberveil without bogging everything down. So having Zeke talk about it in the story is amazing. Instead of just reading item descriptions and maybe seeing some sailors drinking, we've got Zeke being all Jane Goodall here and telling us about the social aspects of being a sailor in Lashings. MushroomCleric OMG ZEKE!!!
You've got stories. You've got soooooo many stories. You should absolutely stand up and tell them all about the bone kaiju and the House of Seasons. MangoChutney Get up and tell how you killed the second Fracture with a guitar solo. That should make for an interesting tale. 10161066 Don't do any of that Zeke. It's considered bad form to tell a story about yourself. The whole point is that someone else has to stand up and tell the story for you, because the public acknowledgement is what gives the story value.
If you get up there and start blathering on and on about how awesome you are, you're not paying a debt or establishing someone else's reputation; you're just bragging. Z3ke (Original Poster) Finally managed to pry myself away from all the drunks. I'm walking deeper into the Lucky Bilge to see what else is here. There's nothing that's gonna stab me or eat my face or anything like that, right? NullSigil Eat your face? Nah. Stab you? Maybe. Z3ke (Original Poster) Great. Just Great.
Z3ke (Original Poster) Oh shit, there's a downstairs to this place. It's all so much bigger. I don't understand how all this stuff fits in one ship. I just found this staircase and it was kinda hidden behind a rack of… I don't know, scarves? Whatever. There is a downstairs and I'm checking it out. HecateTeaCozy Check out the Figurehead Auction House. That's in the basement of the Lucky Bilge. It's one of the more interesting things you can find.
It's an auction hall where they sell salvaged figureheads from old ships. Z3ke (Original Poster) The big wooden statues in front of the ships? That's fucking awesome. But why are they selling them? Is it just for collectors? 10161066 | Is it just for collectors? | Not just. Owning a figurehead from a famous ship is a huge status symbol in Lashings, especially if the ship had a famous captain or legendary voyage or a spectacularly stupid ending.
A lot of shop owners - both in the Lucky Bilge and in Lashings in general - will buy a figurehead and place it somewhere in the shop, and then name the shop after the ship. So you'll have something like a Revenge or Mary Celeste or whatever. The really old figureheads are even more valuable because there are rumors that they've still got tiny fragments of the ship's luck or reputation or history. It's not something you would need to spend your money on, but it would be interesting to check the place out.
If I was there I'd be glued to the auction house. SpicyShoyu Meh. It's not all that interesting. In the game, most players just walk right past it because all you can do is buy the figurehead and then just store it somewhere. It's nothing but a money sink. Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay, didn't find the Figurehead Auction but I think I accidentally discovered where all the criminals are that you were talking about. I'm still in the basement and this is like the most disorganized warehouse in the world.
The whole place is split off into all these different shops and stalls. There are little booths wedged in everywhere, and I swear everyone looks like that dude from the opening of Aladdin. Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay. Yea. I definitely shouldn't be down here. You've got merchants whispering which… why? Just speak in a normal damn voice. I swear I can point out all the smugglers around here, because smuggling in Lashings isn't really an underground business. They're just doing illegal shit out in the open here.
Ch3micalBurst93 BUY SOMETHING!!! HollowHeartsClub Yes! Do it Zeke. Buy something. There's bound to be good items around for sale. You're going to regret leaving without buying something incredibly questionable in the Lashings black market. This is a once-in-a-lifetime shopping opportunity. Z3ke (Original Poster) Jesus. I've got a bundle of gold. You think if I pull it out I'm gonna get mugged? Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay. What am I looking for? Z3ke (Original Poster) You know what?
I'm just gonna tell you all what I'm seeing and you can help me with my purchases. There's a table here that is covered in old coins and jewelry. I guess I can do something like that. I mean, it would just be a sentimental object, and I'm not really a sentimental person and it's not like I'm buying gifts for anyone else. Uh, there's a table that is filled with really shitty pottery. The guy sitting behind it is smoking a pipe and looking offended that nobody wants to buy from him.
Z3ke (Original Poster) You're all gonna make me lose money down here. I swear I found a vendor selling old maps, but they look kinda fake old. You ever go to a museum and you're in the gift shop and they're selling copies of the US Constitution or something? Those copies all look ancient and weathered, but you know it's not the real constitution. Yea. Same thing is going on here. There's a ton of these old maps out here and the guy selling things is shouting that they're "authentic" and can lead to treasure.
But down the aisle there's another dude that has the same spiel and I swear to god he's got all the same maps. Z3ke (Original Poster) Holy shit. It's like no one wants you to buy anything. There's this guy with a crate out on his table and he's got no decoration or anything. Dude doesn't even have a sign up explaining what he's selling. He just has a crate of old shit and he refuses to explain what any of it does.
I asked him about this little metal disk thingy and I asked if it was magical and he said, and I quote, "sometimes." Hambones Buy it. Z3ke (Original Poster) Yeaaaa. I'm not gonna do that. I didn't even tell you the price. Saltmines It doesn't matter the price Zeke. Buy it. VeneratedWitchHunter Jeezus. None of you should be allowed around money. Z3ke (Original Poster) This guy really tried to hock a "genuine kraken tooth" at me. He had about a dozen of them all placed in a neat row on his table.
Pretty sure they're all carved out of whalebone or something. Cold_Reboot Yea. It's a scam. Don't fall for it. JimothyTheBarber | It's a scam. | Are you sure about that? You sure about that? You sure about that? Zeke, you should buy the "genuine" kraken tooth. Can you really take the chance to turn down a "genuine" kraken tooth? I mean, when do you think you're ever going to fight a kraken and get close enough to take out one of its teeth? Buy it. BUY IT!
HandswithoutArms Don't listen to any of these reprobates Zeke. You need gear. You saw what happened when you went up against the Krill Kraken with nothing but your dagger. You need to get something that will help you tackle things like those zombie puppets WITHOUT you needing to get close. I'm talking caltrops. I'm talking smoke grenades. I'm talking some shurikens and other throwing objects. It should be pretty easy to get a high rank in throwing weapons. Just throw shit. DuckDetective13 OMG.
You just want Zeke to turn into some mall store ninja. Over here talking about smoke bombs. You've got to be kidding me. Z3ke (Original Poster) Yea, I don't know about any of that. But I did find the clothing section. Mchiavelli 0_0 My fanfic is about to come true. GravellyVoice1 Jeezus. Grave, can you temp ban Mchiavelli for us. Whenever he posts about his fics I feel the sudden urge to take a hot shower. Z3ke (Original Poster) Oh. Sweet. There's a jacket here that kinda reminds me of Patches.
Not literally of course because he's a person and this is a piece of clothing, but it's weird because it's this patchwork leather jacket that is made out of a bunch of different coats. It's like someone ripped a ton of coats into strips and then mushed them all together. It looks kinda cool. It's got this rough, asymmetrical look where none of the pieces actually match up, and there are these old brass buttons down the front. Problem is that I doubt that I can actually pull something like this off.
Doopididoo OOOOOOOOOOOO SHIT. Zeke, describe the jacket again. Is one sleeve darker than the other? Does the back have three enormous pieces stitched together? Are there little bits of embroidery that are still attached to some of the leather strips? Z3ke (Original Poster) Uh… yea. Yes to all of that. Why? SorrowFran BUY IT! BUY IT NOW!! Hambones Yes. Zeke. No joke. Buy that thing. MushroomCleric Zeke. Buy the jacket. Whatever the cost. Give that man all your gold.
Z3ke (Original Poster) What the hell is up with all of you? It's just an old pirate coat. Malv0lio Holy Shit Zeke, that's the Bilge-Rat Coat. You need to buy it. No one here is joking around right now or trying to get you to waste your money. You just found one of the best pieces of equipment in the city. Z3ke (Original Poster) Okay. I'm gonna need some explanation for why you're all freaking out right now.
Frankly, it just looks like a coat where someone went around stealing pieces of dead guy's jackets and decided to make a new coat out of them. PaperSnakes HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Utzal-hammer You know, sometimes Zeke says things where it makes me think he has played the games before and he's obviously just fucking with us. | stealing pieces of dead guy's jackets and decided to make a new coat out of them. | That's EXACTLY what happened.
The Bilge-Rat Coat is made from pieces of coats that belonged to sailors who died at sea. It was roughly a dozen different coats over the years that were sewn together into one jacket. Yes, that's kind of horrible. I know you're probably thinking to yourself that you don't want to wear twelve dead guys. But you have to realize that you're not wearing twelve dead guys. You're wearing a coat made from the coat of twelve dead guys and that's not the same thing. You need to separate the history from the actual item.
The coat is pretty much a memorial piece that was turned into equipment over time, and the whole point of the thing is that the sailors' stories are supposed to stay attached to the coat so that whoever is wearing it is carrying a little piece of their reputations forward. That's the flavor text of the item. In actuality (and this is what you should care about) the Bilge-Rat Coat is enchanted. It'll give you +1 in your swimming rank. Z3ke (Original Poster) I don't have a Swimming Rank.
Remember when I told you all I couldn't swim and everyone had a collective fit? Yea. I can't swim. I'm terrified of large bodies of water. StoryLeech | I don't have a Swimming Rank. | That's exactly why you need the coat. A +1 to your swimming isn't going to suddenly turn you into Michael Phelps. But it will let you float for long enough that you don't drown before someone comes by and picks you up. Z3ke (Original Poster) Putting on the death coat will let me swim? Utzal-hammer It should. Yes.
You should test it out before committing, but yes. That enchanted coat would help you swim. Z3ke (Original Poster) … I am back to hating you all and hating Lashings for everything that has happened to me.
