"Maharan, what kind of magical sword would you like to wield?" Adam asked, having generally checked upon the businessfolk daily, but he realised there was quite a bit of work to complete for the rest of the year, and the year beyond. However, there were promises to be kept.

"What kind?" Maharan asked.

"If you have a request for what you'd like your magical weapon to do, please let me know, and I will inform the Enchanter, so that we may know for the next year or two, and we can prepare it." Maharan blinked, furrowing his brows for a moment, uncertain of what the half elf meant.

"It is… a Basic sword?"

"Maharan, please," Adam said, as though Maharan had slapped his cheek. He reached up and placed a hand upon Maharan's shoulder.

"The Iyr has entrusted you to us to reward, and I can't allow people to think we're cheap. I imagine you want to be the kind of warrior who fights in full plate, or so, and the kind who wields a sword and shield, or perhaps just a really big sword?"

"Yes?" Maharan replied, still trying to follow Adam's pace.

"Then, think of the kind of sword you'd like to wield, it doesn't necessarily have to be a greatsword, or a sword at all, think about the kind of weapon you'd like to use, then think about the kind of enchantments you'd like on that sword, and if we're able, we will try to complete those enchantments, or similar. We'll equip you with magical armour, Basic or Greater, we'll see, and we will enchant at least a Basic Enhanced, then a Greater Enhanced once you're an Expert."

Maharan furrowed his brows, gently nodding his head, still partly uncertain about this new life of his. The half elf spoke so casually of gifting him magical weapons, and not just magical weapons, magical armour too, a grand gift for someone like him. Adam, whose hatred for nobles was more than evident, yet he spoke as though he were equally as wealthy, equally as egotistical, equally as violent. Wasn't he?

Maharan's thoughts went to the one figure who was certainly that way, the figure who spent most of his time laying on the walls of the Front Iyr, which were so thick and sturdy.

"Mo, I assisted Kal Karmin, but why is it that you are treating me so well?"

"The Iyr is currently focused on the Reavers, and though they are still great at rewarding people, they decided to reward you the best way they knew, well, one of the best, and that's through me. Karmin is the Chief's cousin, and there are few in the entire world I owe more than the Chief, so if he's asking me to reward you, I'll have to do just that.

Your reward is a few magical items, piles of silver and gold, and then you will be trained to Expert, at least, preferably Master, so I don't have to worry as much of you losing such fine magical items."

'Master?' Maharan had always dreamed of growing extremely powerful as a boy, but he knew it was a dream, but to become a Master, among the greatest in the various towns, it was something beyond a mere dream, wasn't it?

"Ah, although, if you want to become a Grandmaster or Paragon, that's fine too, just let me know." Maharan's heart throbbed, his entire body flushing with excitement, for to become a Grandmaster, that would put him into the history books of an entire country, whereas to become a Paragon would put him in the history books of other countries too.

'Is that…'

"Maharan, you're thinking too logically," Adam said, smiling warmly towards the fellow.

"When it comes to me, don't think about what makes sense, but what doesn't."

"Mister Adam, you speak the tongue of silver and gold?" Omer asked, his brows raised emphatically, in almost sheer disbelief, for the half elf certainly hadn't spoken the tongue previously. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

"Not quite as poetically as you, young Omer, but I speak it well enough."

"I have always said it, mister Adam, you are a great man," Omer said, as though he hadn't said the words before, nodding his head in approval, glancing aside to Ali, who also nodded his head in approval.

"I'm glad you think so," Adam replied, flushing lightly, feeling a gentle buzz from the boys' words. The half elf continued to enchant throughout the week, spending piles of gold to enchant what he required. On one particular day, the storm known as Adam arrived.

"What!" Adam half exclaimed, betrayal on his face, the shadow of guilt tempering his foolishness.

"I missed the birth?"

"Too busy working, I always say it," Jirot whispered to her mother, sipping her juice immediately after with her raised brows, as a gossiping grandmother would. Vonda reached down to brush the girl's hair gently, though decided against speaking up, since at times like this, the half elf needed to be bullied, even if it hurt.

"Pamarot!" Adam exclaimed, though it was mostly a whisper.

"I'm so sorry! Aw! Look at you! You're so cute! I love you so much!" The half elf restrained himself from reaching for the girl, who was cuddled so tenderly within her mother's arms, the woman once full of child, now full of exhaustion. She was tiny, wrinkled, holding the beauty of a newborn babe, rather ugly most would say, but the half elf knew this was just how babies looked, and so to him, she was already so adorable.

"Damrot, come, look at your sister," Adam called, beckoning the boy with his fingers, the little boy shuffling towards him, clinging to his uncle's neck as he peered at the girl.

"That's your sister, just like Monarot. Do you remember when Monarot was a baby?" The boy shook his head.

"Yeah, fair," Adam replied, reaching down to brush the boy's hair gently, his nephew peering at the little girl within his mother's arms. Monarot stared at the girl with curious eyes, glancing up towards her father with a question set within her tiny gleaming orbs.

"She is your sister," Jurot said. Monarot furrowed her brows, glancing aside to the other children, for she had not seen the girl before, but she was her sister? That didn't make any sense at all.

"My kaka," Virot said, pointing at the baby.

"Of coas," Jirot said, unable to tell her that wasn't how it worked, but what was she to say?

"Good." Virot's tone implied her sister had chosen the correct response, the girl's threat weighing heavily upon her sister's heart, though she forgave little Virot, of coas. Adam threw a look to Vonda, who rolled her eyes, the half elf flushing slightly, though he smiled with delight.

"Pamarot…" The half elf was glad he was taking the day off the next day, for he spent the entire day with his children, each wishing to remain around their cousin, keeping their youngest sister at bay.

"My kaka! Is my kaka!" Virot argued, holding out both of her hands, offended they would not allow her to go play with the girl.

"Mummy! Mummy! Is my kaka!"

"She is, but she is too small to play."

"No!"

"Yes."

"No?"

"Pamarot is too small," Vonda stated firmly.

"Virot not small, Pamarot is small."

"That's right."

"Pamarot is too small," the girl said, pointing towards the girl, glancing up towards her mother, letting out an exhausted sigh.

"What I do with you?" Adam considered his youngest daughter, who kept bullying her so viciously. If he allowed her to continue, it might end up with her actually hating him, the negative emotions she would associate with him may even make it difficult to protect her if she refused to listen to him.

"Jirot, Jarot, come, let's go exercise together," Adam said, his eyes then falling down to Virot.

"Does Vivi want to come too?"

"Virot eksize," Virot confirmed, following after the twins, cackling with delight and mischief, holding Damrot's hand. The half elf considered his daughter, who followed after Jirot and Jarot well, though he wished she followed Jarot a little more. As they exercised, the youngest pair followed them, though sat down whenever she was tired, while the twins continued to exercise. The triplets joined them a short while later, having finished their naps, though soon they would find boundless energy, for it was nightval.

Once they were finished, Jirot led them to the nearby baths, for she was her father's daughter, and the half elf assisted the children in bathing. Vonda also appeared to assist, for one would need many eyes when it came to many children, but especially a particular pair. Virot cuddled up to her mother, allowing the woman to bathe her, and Damrot also adored her affection, while Adam assisted the twins, then his triplets, glancing between them all, a rhythm of vision to keep them from drowning.

Once they were done with the after bathing ritual of drying off, applying lotion, and changing, the group returned back to the shared estate.

"What are you thinking of so deeply?" Vonda eventually whispered once the pair had settled into a corner with a cup of tea.

"I need to make sure Virot is going to be okay," Adam replied.

"I will speak with Jirot," Vonda said.

"To think, everything revolves around Jirot," Adam thought, letting out a sigh.

"At least it's all centralised into my sweet daughter who is so wise." Adam had no idea how much trouble he would be with Jirot soon.
