Chương 36: Author's Notes: Rising Stars (28 Sept 2025)

Hello everyone, Just reached rising stars today and I'm bouncing between 47-49. Because of that, I'm expecting a lot more negative reviews and ratings, as is usual for making it here. Thank you all for your help. It's a blessing to get there without really doing shoutout swaps and just the singular advertisement.

The point of this post is twofold: The first is the future: I had initially going to put Farm Girl on the back burner when we finished Arc 1 to work on something different (hence the no shoutout swaps and barely any advertising). I figured I'd return to it every once in awhile and put it in my writing rotation. However, being on rising stars means I'll likely continue Ashley's story for awhile longer -- and for those not familiar, Arc two, formally known as low tier necromancer immediately follows.

The old way of it was kind of haphazard with things happening. The new method, as you've probably observed, is that each role and level gets 10 chapters of exploration before the level up. Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. In arc 2, the role system is introduced. The question I am posing to everyone is one of these three choices.

The necromancer arc happens first regardless (the trip to Talbotton and seeing dalliance rather): 1) Cryothuerge - the path of winter, Ashley's public face. This is a political driven story about magic and the world around. 2) morticulturalist - Necromancer Farm girl. This one has to be done, but the question is when. 3) Chirugeon - The doctor Hart story, medicine and small town vibes. Please give a vote below so I know which to start with.

And for the second thing - Now that we're on rising stars, the influx of people being negative far exceeds positivity. If you've reached this point, I would love an honest review or rating. It means a lot to me, and even a tftc or a silent rating helps a lot - vs the silent 1. 5 or 2s or reviews from people who have some... Interesting takes and reading. As a treat, I was planning to show the full set when I returned for Arc 2. But since it's on rising stars already, have a sketch of Ashley from Arc 2.
