The Infinite Law: Serpent of Time [Progression Fantasy]

If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you. Sam is sick of just surviving. Something in the Abyss is beckoning him. It whispers in his ear, filling his head with voices, and an invisible force tugs on his heart. Sam's ability to resist is crumbling rapidly. He needs the means to defend himself before he stumbles upon it or the Abyss dweller finds him. Tales of tainted fungi and the entities born of them haunt the safe havens. The Inhumans are corrupting a world already twisted by the apocalypse. Sam has spent most of his adult life avoiding them, until an irresistible job lands in his lap. He might have to face the very creatures that killed his loved ones and almost ripped off his limbs. But the promise of awakening is too good to resist. What to expect: - Fantasy apocalypse setting - Progression fantasy without a system/interface/stats - Unique magic system - Settlement/community building - Weak-to-strong protagonist
